Forest Hills has a substantial collection of Bible translations, United Methodist Church Book of Discipline, reference texts, children's books and videos, Bible study material, and adult books located in Fellowship Hall. All except a few reference texts are available for check out.
Copies of the weekly audio CD of music and the message from Sunday worship as well as DVDs of special events and drama presentations are also vailable in the library. Masters of audio and video recordings are also listed in the card catalog.
Searching the Library
The library card catalog is in the process of being converted from physical cards to electronic. The conversion process should be completed by year-end 2009. Use it to search the way you would any formal library.
Finding Items
The library shelves in Fellowship Hall hold all materials except audio visual archives which are stored in the AV Storage closet in the Education building. Click here for a list of categories of items. This is a good way to browse the library collection.
Checking out Items
For items with a checkout card, simply fill out the card and leave it in the box by the door. To checkout items which do not have a card attached such as Worship CDs, ...... (details to follow).
Returning Items
Place them in the basket by the Library door.
